He was predeceased by : his brother Steve Benko. He is survived by : his former life partner Elizabeth Szedeli; his wife Elizabeth "Buzz" Benko; his children, Julie Rose Adames (Gabriel) of Grand Prairie, Linda Ann Smith (Duane) of Joshua and Martin Steve Benko (Sandra) of Arlington; and his grandchildren, Josua Brown, Julian Z. Adames of Grand Prairie, Matthew Steven Benko, Jacob Robinson and Zachary Robinson of Arlington.
