She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bennett Reed and Edna Ruth Reed (Gilley). She is survived by: her cousin Gail Peschke; her husband Charles Ray Maddox; her children, Bennett "Rusty" Maddox (Cecilia "Cissy"), Janene Meyer (Joe), Daylon Maddox and Chet Maddox (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Bennett Maddox (Maurice Curan), James Maddox (Lori), Ansley Maddox (Kelsey Moore), Jamie Wright (David), Loren Renfroe (Cameron), Travis Hill (Brady), Ashley Ferrell (Dustin), Kye Maddox, Taylor Maddox and Maggie Maddox; her great grandchildren, Nickolas Curran, Carleigh Curran, Nora Lou, Connor Maddox, Shyann Roberson, Miranda Titzman, Charlie Mae Titzman, Leyton Wright, Kaylee Titzman, Henry Renfroe of Anderson and Liam Ferrell; her siblings, Lea Ann Lerich (Karl) and Gary Reed; her sisters-in-law, Jean Smith, Carolyn Depril and Arlene Wheeler (Lee); and her goddaughter Denana Ruth Calhoun. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (202 E Ave, Pleasanton, TX 78012). A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christine City Cemetery.
