He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastacio Pena and Angelita Pena (Sanchez); his sons, Julian Pena, Jr. and Gilbert Pena; and his siblings, Aurela P. Jimenez, Rita Zamora, Tibrucio Pena, Frank Pena, Joe Carlos Pena, Alfredo Pena and Juan Pena.
He is survived by: his niece Melinda Pena; his sons, Arturo Pena (Lisa), Jesse Pena (Dorothy) and Jimmy Joe Pena; and his siblings, Simona Chapa, Jacinto Pena (Mary) and Rudy Pena (Anna). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
