With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Vyvlecka of Jourdanton, Texas, who passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Marek and Louise Marek (Jasik); her husband John Stanley Vyvlecka Jr.; and her siblings, Edith Carson (Marek), Albert Marek, Johnny Marek and Alfred Marek.
She is survived by: her children, Scot Vyvlecka (Rebecca), Brady Vyvlecka (Lisa) and Deanna Burns (Kevin); her grandchildren, Collin, Faith Vyvlecka, Derek Burns (Kayla) and Dylan Burns (Annalise); her great grandchildren, Fallon Kate Burns and Henry Louis Burns; and her sisters, Lillian Cooper (Marek), Georgia Albert (Calvin) and Dorothy Terrell (Don).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A rosary was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Andrew Cemetery (2 Corgey Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064).
