He is survived by: his children, Lynette Escalera and Oscar Escalera Jr.; his brother Juan Escalera (Johnni); and his sibling's children, Johnny Joe Escalera (Dawn), John Escalera and Krystal Escalera. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.
