With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Schaefer of Junction, Texas, born in Paducah, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Herring and James Herring; her siblings, James Herring and Helen Stanberry; her son Carl William "Trey" Schaefer, III; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin Schaefer and Kayla Marie Schaefer.
She is survived by: her grandsons, David, Joe and Timothy; her husband C. W. Schaefer, Jr.; her children, David Schaefer of Junction, Joe Schaefer (Mickey) of Sonora, Tim Schaefer (Della) of Comanche, OK, Carla Mogford (John) of Junction and Sarah Kinder (Rick) of Malvern, IA; and her sister Joyce Scott.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kimble County Meals on Wheels, or to a charity of choice.
