She was predeceased by : her parents, Merardo Serenil and Georgia Molina Serenil; and her sister Amelia Serenil. She is survived by : her close friend Moses Coreno; her children, Arleen Vera (Juan), Mario Olvera (Terri) and Tracy Pacheco (Ray); and her siblings, Raul Serenil (Mary Ann) and Rosa Vela. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
