He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his siblings, Jer and Mary. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Sorgenfrei (Bill); his grandchildren, Julie and Brian; his daughter Kathleen Muldoon (Ed); his grandchildren, Kayla, Leighann and Michael; his daughters, Anne Fickel (Keith) and Laura; his brother Seamus; and his sister-in-law Maureen. He is also survived by 1 niece and 5 nephews.

Contributions in Mike's memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Epiphany Catholic Church.
