We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 98, Hortencia Zepeda Guerra in Kenedy, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; and her children, Sylvia Guerra Gonzales, Lisa Guerra Morin, Harold Guerra, Efrain Guerra, Olivia Guerra Arenal and Concepcion "Chuche" Guerra Garza.
She is survived by: her sibling Zepeda; and her children, Linda Guerra Gonzales (Jorge Gonzales), Martha Aranda (Fidencio Aranda), Fred Guerra (Judy Guerra), Mary Guerra (Johnny Puente), Augustina Moya (Edward Moya), Rosa Guerra and Cruz Cuellar. She is also survived by 200 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (605 Karnes St, Kenedy, TX 78119). A rosary will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
