He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Clifton and Helen Elizabeth Tobias; and his siblings, Mack Tobias Jr., Clifton Wayne Tobias, Ben Tobias, Patricia Faye Jenkins and Elizabeth Ann Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Tobias of Kennard; his children, Johnny Tobias Jr. (Paula) of Pollok and Shannon Ham (Nathan) of Lovelady; and his sisters, Darlene Stone of Rockwall and Annell Johnson of Rowlett. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Old Palestine Cemetery (290 County Rd 2609, Alto, TX 75925). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Traditions Health Hospice Care, 600 E. Loop 304, Crockett, Texas 75835 who gave him excellent care for 2 years, especially his loving nurse Tiche Johnson.
