She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Darlington and Ella Darlington (McNeil); her sister Mary Jane Trout; her former life partner Leroy Deans; and her husband James Koetting.

She is survived by : her great grandchild Zachary Williams; and her children, Regilean (Reggie) Kitka (Steve), Richard Deans (Darleen), Craig Deans (Terry), Bryan Deans (Patty) and Chuck Deans (Tammy). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren along with numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
