He is survived by: his wife Mary Jeanne Coers; his children, Jeanne Coers Stacy (Philip) and John Coers (Sonia); his grandchildren, Gretchen Stacy MacDonald (Casey), Thomas Stacy and Benjamin Coers; his siblings, Marilyn Purdy, Pat Long and Bill Coers; his siblings' children, Kathryn Purdy, Laura Purdy Devis, Suzanne Boll Riley, Scott Long, Kevin Coers, Aaron Coers and Justin Coers; his great-niece Eva Devis; his great-nephew Simon Devis; his nephew Vernon Roy Boll; his brother-in-law Earl Long; and his pet Shih Tzu. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
