He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Brown and Margaret Brown (Ruether); his siblings, Charlie Brown, Brian Brown, Judy Sherlock, Dianne Borchers and Mary Eblen; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Sherlock and Doug Borchers.
He is survived by: his wife Nina Brown of Kerrville; his children, Jeffrey Brown (Terri) of Iowa, Julie Brown of Nebraska, Angie Durr of Iowa and Dr. Jenna W. Clack (Landon) of Texas; his niece Shelby Michalec (Trevor) of Texas; his siblings, Dennis Brown (Angela) of Oregon, Glenn Brown (Diana) of South Dakota, Randy Brown (Jane) of Texas, Steve Brown of Texas, Deb Quinn (Rick) of Illinois, Mary Brown of Texas and Nancy Brown (Jim Eblen) of South Dakota; his siblings-in-law, Lexy Merrick and Jim Merrick (Gay Lynn); his grandchildren, Colton, Sydney (Jeffrey), Kris (Julie), Ethan (Angie), Andrew, Neely and Campbell (Jenna Wade); and his great grandchildren, Norah, Savannah and Calum Leroy (Colton). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
