Though Lois may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lois touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Angel and Lola Angel; her husband Gus Vanek; and her son James. She is survived by: her daughter Martha Hardy; and her grandson Richard Hardy.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (3250 Fredericksburg Rd, Kerrville, TX 78028).
Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Kerrville.
