She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Barnett Peters and Eleanor Henke Peters; the father of her children Carlos Edwin Pfiester; her daughter Tamara Pfiester Pate; and her son-in-law Greg Pate.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Edwin Pfiester, Tiffany Pfiester Way and Ashley Pfiester Causey; her grandchildren, Carlye Pfiester Carpenter, Nathanael Pfiester, Cassie Pate, Noah Pfiester, Victoria Way, Colton Pfiester, Chloe Pfiester and Boston Way; her great grandchild Judah Carpenter; and her brother David Riley Peters. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
