Ken Mleczewski wrote a sympathy message

“I knew and worked with George on many technical projects while we were both at Gilroy Foods in California. He was an excellent Engineer and a hard working, fun person. We talked a few times after George moved to Texas ... he hadn't changed and was always true to his ethics and beliefs. George was a good person. He will be missed. Our sympathy and condolences to the Pendergast family. Ken Mleczewski”
