He was predeceased by: his father J. G. Golden; his daughters, Sheila Donovan and Melissa Bridges; and his sister Lily Coombs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Golden of Kilgore; his children, Angie Elliott (Bobby) of Kilgore, Gina Pitman of Hollywood, Florida and John Fred Golden, Jr. of Kansas City; his sister Karen Mitchell of Gladewater; and his grandchildren, Gillian, Jenny, John, Sarah, Blake, Nathan, Savannah, Dakota, Sky, Leah, Tristin, Brett, Jordan and Ryan. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
