She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dale and Ada Elizabeth Gabbard; her husband Talmadge Mercer; her grandson Justin Talmadge Mercer; and her son-in-law Jim McWilliams.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Mercer McWilliams, Jeff Mercer (Barbara), Deborah Hollowell (Morris), David Mercer (Martha), Bryan Mercer (Chelly) and Mary Burton (Clay); and her grandsons, Matthew Hollowell, David Hollowell, John Mercer, Jacob Mercer, Jeffery Mercer, James Mercer, Jared Mercer, Josh Burton, Jon Tyler Mercer and Justin Mercer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Danville Cemetery (200 Memorial St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
