He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Thomas Stengel and Ethel Stengel (Cobb). He is survived by : his wife Joy Cheshire; his daughters, Vickie (Butch Miller) and Donna (Jerome Edinger); his stepdaughter Cheryl Procell; his grandchildren, Cherri (Brian Bailey), Steve (Michelle Miller), Stephanie (Josh Kerr), Jennifer (Christian Bradford) and Josh (Christina Edinger); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Bailey, Cassie Bailey, Joseph Bailey, Makayla Kerr, James Kerr, Sydnee Miller, Brody Miller, Natali Edinger, Micah Edinger, Asher Bradford, Finn Bradford and Greyson Bradford.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens (5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604).
