He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradley Philpot and Mary Philpot (Bishop); and his siblings, Gordon Philpot, Patricia Philpot DeBord and Brenda Risner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Philpot, Jim Philpot, Donald Philpot and Janet Philpot; his daughter Leslie Dalla Rosa; and his grandson Brandon Dalla Rosa.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Appalachian Project or NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council).
