He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Albert "Toby" Greer and Virginia Boyd Greer; his daughters, Kimberly Greer Newman (Roger Newman) and Tracey Greer Sherrill (James "Stoney" Sherrill, III); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Szalczer, Christopher Sherrill, Sean Szalczer, Jordan Sherrill and Jackson Sherrill; his great grandchild Elijah; his wife Melodye Overby Greer; his brother Charles Nichols Greer; and his nephew Gary Greer.
