He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Abundez and Julian Abundez; his wife Angelita P. Abundez; and his daughter Gracie Abundez Silguero. He is survived by: his sister Sofia Flores; his children, Raymond Abundez Sr., Celso Abundez Jr. and Sandra Abundez; and his siblings, Julia Rodriguez, Manuela Benavides, Carolina Villareal, Margarita Perez, Ernestina Olivarez, Elida Morin and Fidencio Abundez. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
