She was predeceased by: her parents, Luciano Garcia and Felipa Reyes Garcia; her husband Simon Diaz Sr.; her sons, Juan Simon Diaz and Simon Diaz Jr.; her great grandchild Nathaniel "Stuey" Garcia; her sisters, Rosa Garcia Trujillo, Mogonia Garcia Erebia and Irma Garcia Loera; and her in-laws, Juan Diaz and Maria Santos Martinez Diaz.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Diaz, Norma Diaz Minter Caballero of Kingsville and Michael Diaz (Melisa) of Bentonville; her grandchildren, Niki Marie Diaz, Casey Michelle Diaz Greer, Austin Evan Minter, Justin Lewis Minter, Nyssa Paulene Minter, Erika Leigh Diaz Ramirez and Ryan Michael Diaz; and her sisters-in-law, Consuelo Diaz Mata of Mesquite and Frances Diaz Garibaldo of Robstown. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.
