He is survived by: his children, Crystal Nicole Salazar of Kingsville, Texas, Ernesto Salazar III of Kingsville, Texas, Michael Anthony Salazar of Kingsville, Texas and Uliza Dolores Salazar of Kingsville, Texas; his brother Eric Jacob Salazar of Richardson, Texas; his grandchildren, Jenasis, Xylah, Rey, Julius, Anselmo, Cruz, Alazay, Elijah, Laiylah, Lauren, Arnoldo, Adrik, Adam, Charlize, Jacob, Arianna and Julian; and his great grandchildren, Rey IV and Jaelean. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
