She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Claire McDowell (John), James Garner Turcotte (Paula), William Edgar Turcotte (Christine), Patricia Lynn Hoffman (Richard) and Richard Edward Turcotte (Gwendolyn); her grandchildren, Cecile Caldwell, James Caldwell (Ashley), Andy McDowell (Candace), Kelsey McDowell Machado (Giullo), Clayton Turcotte, Nicholas Turcotte (Erin), Pierce Turcotte, Joseph Turcotte, Jack Carbo, Tyler Carbo, William Hoffman, Oliver Hoffman, Louis Turcotte, Charles Turcotte and George Turcotte; and her great grandchildren, Libby, Ryan McDowell, Luisa, Will Machado, Anderson, Jean Turcotte, Harrison and Garner Caldwell.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Gertrude Catholic Church (1120 S 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
She served on the Foundation Board of Trustees, the Legacy Ball Steering Committee, and advisory boards for the College of Education & Human Performance, Early Childhood Development, and the John E. Conner Museum.
