She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Mendietta and Maria Ofelia Mendietta; her husband Reyes Ray Herrera Sr.; her brothers, Candido Mendietta and Leopoldo Mendietta; and her niece Clarissa De La Paz.
She is survived by: her children, Roberto Salinas Jr. (Mariam) and Amanda Salinas; her grandchildren, Joeray, Sebastian, Destiny, Amyshay and Robert III; her great grandchild Hazel; her siblings, Joe Mendietta (Janie), Julian Mendietta and Sulema M. Resurez; and her sister-in-law Patricia Mendietta. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
