Rachel Yanez Granato Obituary

We announce the death of Rachel Yanez Granato of Kingsville, Texas, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 95. Rachel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ynez Yanez and Dolores Yanez; and her siblings, Ynez Yanez Jr., Clarence Yanez Sr., Prospero Yanez, Horace P. Yanez, Rebecca Rodriguez, Lumina Guzman and Aurora Gallardo.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Granato (Darlene) of Georgia, Liza Farrell of Wichita Falls and Rachel Lynn Buentello of Kingsville; her grandchildren, Bambi Hartt (Robert) of Armando, Buentello Jr., Kami Vidaurri (Brad), Christopher Farrell (Angelica), Devin Granato (Kym), Cody Farrell and Jewel Aleah Buentello; and her great grandchildren, Kyleigh Vidaurri, Allyson Jaelynn Buentello, Ayden Martinez Farrell, Venus Buentello, Aria Vidaurri, Sophia Farrell, Audrey Granato, Joslyn Granato, Robert Bellman, Elizabeth Hoien, Heather Sullivan and Nikolas Perez.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martin's Catholic Church (715 N 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363-4515).
