She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Lomas and Julia Garcia; her husband Albert Cavazos Jr.; and her brother Severo "Sam" Garcia. She is survived by : her children, Michael Cavazos (Melody) of San Antonio, Robert A. Cavazos (Imelda) of Harlingen, Elizabeth Diane Garza (Fred) of Midland, Sandra Ann Rodriguez (Arnold) of Corpus Christi, Carla Sanchez (Jorge) of Kingsville and Delia "Dee Dee"; her siblings, Alfredo "Tito" Garcia, Graciela Cavazos, Mary Alice Vela and Vilma Deases; and her pet Molly. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews.
