She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Wesley Carnes; her sisters, Judy K. Morey and Dee Anne Butcher; and her nephew Gary Morey. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Carnes Dempsey (Robert) and John Michael Carnes; her grandchildren, Brianna Paige Lum (Matthew Lum) of Houston, TX, Lindsey Daile Stiglets, Eric Thomas Dempsey and Luke Edward Dempsey; her great grandchildren, Emma Paige Lum and Charlotte Leigh Lum; and her nephews, Bryan Morey, Dan Butcher (Sara), Dean Butcher and Ron Butcher.
