It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shelton Lamar Weaver of Kingwood, Texas, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Weaver and Evia White Weaver; and his siblings, Shirley Ruth Martin, John D. Weaver, Charles J. Weaver, Joe A. Weaver and Morris K. Weaver.

He is survived by : his children, Mike Weaver (Crystal) of DeQuincy, Liz Van Cleve (Tim) of Kingwood, TX, Cassie Weaver of Kingwood, TX and Greg Weaver (Delaine) of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Tyler Weaver, Hollie Weaver Ellender, Gabe Johnston, Grant Weaver, Aaron Van Cleve, Jeff Van Cleve, Lauren Van Cleve and Juliana Van Cleve; and his brother Louis E. Weaver. He is also survived by Ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
