He is survived by: his children, Chris Cole Slaughter (Amanda) of Moody, Skye Rowland (Vanessa) of Huntington, Thorton Taylor Slaughter of Katy, Trenton Randall Slaughter of Kirbyville and Eddie Elmer Slaughter, Jr. of Katy; his grandchildren, Shelby Slaughter and Kasen Slalughter; and his siblings, James Slaughter (Angela) of Lufkin, Sue Glover (Mitchell) of Lufkin and Patricia Ann Husband of Huntington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
