He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem McClendon and Mary (Leavings); and his siblings, J. W., Fred, Robert McClendon, Nett, Thelma and Velma.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Kirk Keith of Kirbyville and Eric Keith of Vidor. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gateway Tabernacle (22690 US-96, Kirbyville, TX 75956). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
