He is survived by : his child Ryan Jeffrey Schmelter of Beaumont; and his siblings, Jerry Schmelter (Shelly), Diane Hanson, Dan Schmelter (Nancy), Jim Schmelter (Rose), Joyce Bennett (Ed), Rose Parks (Charles), Patrice Mullen, Pam Mills, Mary Ellen Perney (Doug) and Jeanette Jones (Glenn). He is also survived by Godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
