We bid farewell to Frances Evelyn Hackfield in Knox City, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Frances Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellon Surles and Lloyd Surles; her sisters, Loydellon Burnette, Betty Lou Boyd, June Riddle and Mary Lee Huffman; and her niece Billie June Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Rudy; her sons, Lynn Hackfield, Danny Hackfield, David Hackfield and Darryl Hackfield (Dawn Weber); her sibling's children, Mary Lou Dill, Debbie McCartney (Larry), Karen Barry (Paul), Cheryl Farr, Johnny Dill and Kevin Burnette (Theresa); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney Burnette and Julie Briscoe; and also, Marico, Kimberly and Brandon.
About five months ago, she was hospitalized with COVID.
