We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 85, Richard George Mangold of La Coste, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alida Mangold and George Mangold; his brothers, Monte and Bobbie Mangold; and his in-laws, Ottalie and Chester Schmidt.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Schmidt Mangold; his children, Lanham Mangold (Marla), Leyton Mangold (Michele), Richelle Mangold and Tricia Chatham (Steven); his grandchildren, Logan (Avalon), Trent Mangold, Kandi, Korey, Kolton (Allie), Kingston Mangold, Kyon Chandler (Blake), Keydon Walter, Maddy and Cash Chatham; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Callum Mangold, Emmie Mangold, Doc Mangold and Blakelyn Chandler; and his sister Alida Ann Rappe.

Memorials may be made in Dickie's memory to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, Zion Lutheran Church, or to the charity of your choice.
