He was predeceased by : his parents, Alberto Bazaldua and Cecilia Amaro Bazaldua; and his wife Herlinda Garza Bazaldua. He is survived by : his children, Blanca Bazaldua and Benito Bazaldua. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grand-children.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery (21037 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550).
