He was predeceased by : his wife Nicomedes of Castellanos; and his children, Elvira Castellanos, Victor Castellanos, Nixon Castellanos and ILde Olando Castellanos.
He is survived by : his daughters, Maria H. Castellanos and Yaneth Castellanos; his grandchild Reyes Edilzar Castellanos; and his siblings, Rita Castellanos and Adrian Castellanos. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
