He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Idelfonso Anaya and Romana Gonzalez Anaya; his siblings, Isaias Anaya and Tomasa Moreno; and his children, Ramon Anaya (Concepcion), Idelfonso Anaya (Rosalinda), Juan Anaya Jr. (Rosa), Felipe Anaya (Lorena), Margarita Gonzalez Anaya (Jose), Rogelio Anaya (Leticia), Evangelio Anaya, Jaime Anaya (Elizabeth) and Benito Anaya. He was also cherished by 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 12:00 PM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Restlawn Memorial Park (14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559).
