It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarita Leija of La Feria, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Margon Leija. She is survived by: her children, Mark Anthony Leija, Ivan Keith Rodriguez (Tiffany Michelle Kerrigan), Leana Krystal Rodriguez (Armando Galaviz) and Veronica Leija; her mother Lucia Silva Leija; her siblings, Israel Leija, Matilde Treto, Graciela Munoz and David Leija; and her grandchildren, Mark Anthony Leija Jr., Yosiah Rey Galaviz, Nevaeh Cheyanne Leija and Zacarias Enoch Galaviz.
