It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Eugene Anderson of La Porte, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hazel Ola Anderson and Lynnwood E. Anderson; and his siblings, John Elliott, Don Evans, James Lea and Nelda Jean Anderson Wood.

He is survived by : his wife Sheila Anderson; his children, Douglas Anderson Jr., James Anderson and Michaela Anderson; his sisters, Margaret Lynn Eddy and Susie Black; and his grandchildren, Aeden Lea, Maria Isabel, Cherri Blossom and Connor Blythe.
