He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton "Paul" Bernard Sr. and Louella Jacquet (Bernard Sr.); and his siblings, Melvin Bernard Sr. and Frances Marie Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Linda D. Willis-Bernard Jr. of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Gianni Lewis (William) of La Porte and Yolanda St. Cyr (Ronald) of Humble; his grandchildren, Johnathan Lewis, Brittany Fortenberry, Taelor Fortenberry, Isaiah St. Cyr, Latrice Eugene and Adonis Lewis; his aunt Mildred Dennis of Lafayette; and his siblings, Robert Bernard Sr. (Lue Bogan) of Baytown, Leo Bernard Sr. of La Porte, Gertrude Williams of La Porte, Sandra Culpepper of Houston and Beverly Fairweather. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (816 Park Dr, La Porte, TX 77571, USA). A rosary was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
