Catherine Halbardier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Halbardier (San Antonio, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Halbardier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Alfred "Benny" Wahne and Dorthy Jane Wahne. She is survived by: her husband John Halbardier; her children, Dwayne, Sarah Halbardier of Hutto, Dale, Joy Halbardier of St. Hedwig, Dustin and Julie Halbardier of Elmendorf; her siblings, Margaret Crosby, Janice Kotara and Roy Wahne; and her grandchildren, Emma, Jonathan, Grace, Wyatt and Hayden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E p, Adkins, TX 78101). Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (14011 FM 1346, St Hedwig, TX 78152). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Catherine to St. Francis Nursing Home or, Rosary Society of Annunciation of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig.
