She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Dennis and Mildred Dennis; her husbands, Sherman Sanders and Tommy Thompson; her daughter Cynthia Gayle Friesenhahn; and her siblings, Mildred "Tootsie" Hepworth, Annie Sanders, Jack Dennis, Jr. and Walter "Corky" Dennis Lydia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Gerland (Geoffrey) and Patti Morales (Bobby); and her grandchildren, Traci Devora (Edward), James Johnson, Jr. (Tracy), Michael Kirchner (Michelle), Jeffery Kirchner (Vanessa), Joshua Friesenhahn (Randy Rose), Michael "Peter" Sheffield (Natalie), Adam Sheffield (Brandy), Scott Morales (Abby), Laura Villanueva and Melissa McCloskey (Chris). She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
