It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin G. Martin (La Vernia, Texas), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Martin and Elaine Martin (English); and his siblings, Patricia Martin Roberts and Glen Martin. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Martin (Hiller); his sons, Mark A. Martin (Pilar) and Stephen D. Martin; his grandchildren, Gracen S. Martin and Reagan G. Martin; his sister Joyce McCauley (Martin); his sister-in-law Susan Martin; and his stepgrandchildren, Chris Martinez, Josh Martinez and Inez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Town East Baptist Church building fund (Build that Gym) in honor of Marvin.
