She was predeceased by : her parents, J. W. Ashley and Callie Louise Ashley; her husband Thurman Parks; her son Ralph Eric Harden, Jr.; and her siblings, Linda Gregory and Douglas Wade Ashley.

She is survived by : her son Tyler Harden (Dana); her daughter-in-law Kalai Harden; her sister Sue Reed; and her brother-in-law Roy Gregory. She is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Jimmie Kay Ashley Parks, 77, passed peacefully from this life on August 18, 2023 ending her three year battle with dementia and Parkinson's disease.
