She was predeceased by: her parents, Melquiades Cortez and Teresa Cortez (Cavazos); and her brothers, Daniel Cortez, Pedro Cortez, Jesse Cortez, Juan Cortez and Vidal Cavazos.
She is survived by: her children, Mario Davila (Donann) of Kaufman, Michael Dillard of Winters, Monica Uvalle of Lamesa, Teresa Emilia Barron of San Angelo and Ignacio Barron of Winters; and her siblings, Rafaela Ortiz of Seminole, Paul Cortez (Beverly) of Coleman, Alex Cortez of Lamesa, Frank Cortez (Christina) of Phoenix, AR. and Robert Cortez of Big Spring. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
