It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Zarate of Lamesa, Texas, born in Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Eli Zarate; and her grandparents, Pedro Zarate, Maria Zarate, Alfredo Cruz and Ramona C. Cruz.
She is survived by : her daughter Jessica Zarate of Lamesa, Texas; her mother Rosario Zarate of Lamesa, Texas; her brother Eliz Zarate, Jr. of Rhome, Texas; her sister-in-law Sandy Zarate of Rhome, Texas; her sister Silvia Iglesias of Lamesa, Texas; and her niece Kimberly Iglesias of Lamesa, Texas. She is also survived by several relatives and friends.
