He was predeceased by: his parents, Trinidad B. Marez and Mary Marez (Lopez); his daughter Teresa "Christie" Marez; and his siblings, Sylvia Morua, William Navarrete, Steve Marez, Manuel Marez and Thomas Marez.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Marez, Jr. (Elma Sanchez) of Lampasas and Laura Lee Perez (Francisco Perez) of San Antonio; his siblings, Philip Marez (Ophelia Morua Marez) of Lampasas, Alejandro Marez (Christina Gonzales Marez) of Lampasas, Ricardo Marez (Bernadette Ramirez Marez) of Leander, Eloise Marez Robles (Gilbert Robles) of Burnet, Annabelle Marez Salazar (Ray Salazar) of Lampasas, Josie Garza of Platteville and Vera Navarette Garza (Manuel Garza) of Platteville, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Lillyana Longoria, Timoteo Longoria, Francisco J. Perez of San Antonio and Ralph Marez III of Lampasas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
