We bid farewell to Richard W. Shirk of Lancaster, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his former wife Irene Ruth Shirk. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bishop of Red Oak, Texas; his sisters, Dee Thompson, Bobbie Vernie Lee Casey and Tiny Clark; and his children, David (Darla) and Sally of Lancaster, Texas. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lagrone Blackburn Funeral Home (Coulter Chapel) (8310 Coulter St S, Amarillo, TX 79119).
