It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel Lee of Laneville, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Blanton and Abbie Harris Blanton; her husband James 'Pepper Lee; her grandson Justin Freeny; and her siblings, Hassie Dixon, Charlie Blanton and Amos Blanton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Freeny (J. L.) and Sherl Henderson (Michael); her brother Verdell Adams; and her grandchildren, Jason Freeny (Cassie), Ashley Freeny, Coy Townsend (Kymeshia), Trianna Lewis, Brianna Lewis and Michael P. Henderson. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
